We had a relaxing weekend in Little Clacton with Trish and Welski. On the Saturday, we had a very nice dinner prepared by Trish, as well as playing Bar Billiards and Balderdash! It was good to see all of the work they've done to the house since our last visit.
On the Sunday, we set off for Flatford, the scene of The Haywain by John Constable. Below you can see a photo taken from the spot, with Willy Lott's house on the left, just as in the painting. We also went for a long walk around the countryside...and fully deserved the Cream Tea we had when we got back! Before heading home, we also had a quick tour around the Constable Museum, which had very low ceilings!
