Barbarians v Samoa Rugby trip

A group of us went to the new home of West Ham, the Olympic Stadium, to see a Rugby World Cup warm up game between The Barbarians and Samoa. We started off with breakfast as Woodin's Shades, before getting a bus up to Hackney Wick for some drinks at The Crate Brewery. After that, we moved on to The Plough at Swan Wharf, before walking onto the stadium and watching the game. Afterwards, we had a final drink at The Cow, before heading off home. RAF Helicopter passing by!

One of the RAF helicopters just passed the back window, didn't hang around long enough to get any more than this quick snap!

Cathrine and Ståle's Wedding

Siv and I travelled to Norway for Cathrine and Ståle's Wedding. We stayed with Ingvild and Jose, and headed off to the church in Strømmen on Saturday morning. After the service and some photographs outside the church, we headed off to the reception at the Raumergården Hotel for a fun afternoon / evening with family and friends. Last season at The Boleyn Ground

It's the start of the last season for West Ham at The Boleyn Ground, so while the weather is still not bad, I thought I'd take a few snaps of the day out. We Started in The Spotted Dog before the game, before moving on to the game, which was sadly a 1-2 loss to Leicester!

Finally received Liz and Rick's Birthday present

A t-shirt from Pennsylvania based convenience store Wawa! A perfect fit too!

Birds and blackberries in the garden

It was a very nice day to be out in the garden today, a lot of bird activity down on the feeders! Later in the afternoon I went down to the wilderness to pick some blackberries, and it looks like this year's crop looks like it will be a bumper one.

Meeting up with Eva and Ole in London

We met up with Eva and Ole in town. We started with drinks and dinner at The Maze Grill, before moving on to Bar Italia. From here we moved on to The Garrick Arms before some late cocktails at their hotel, Club Quarters Trafalgar Square. By this stage we'd missed the last tube and had to take the night bus home!
