Trip up town with Nina and Ellen Marie

We took a trip up to London with Nina to go shopping in Liberty's as well as seeing the Christmas lights. We met up with an ex-colleague of Siv and Nina - Ellen Marie - in The White Horse before heading home.

Lovely day for a walk over Fairlop Waters

We went for a long walk today over Fairlop Waters and on into Barkingside for lunch. Clear blue skies meant all the golden colours showed up fabulously.

Looks like Autumn’s arrived!

Some of the trees in the garden seem to have given up for the year!!

Holiday in Sarasota

We're just back from a holiday in Sarasota. A very relaxing time staying at our AirBNB place, Chasing the Sun. As well as our normal beach walks we were given two bikes which we used to get around as well (to further afield places like Ken Thompson Park). We did our usual shopping trips as well as going to the Cinema to see 'A Star is Born',and spent Halloween at Madison Avenue Cafe watching the fancy dress people parade by.

On Friday we drove up to Lakeland to have lunch with heather and Steve at Harry's Seafood bar, driving back we got caught up in some terrible weather and stopped when a tornado warning was announced!

On Saturday there was a display of Ferrari's in the square which was very impressive.
