Terje's Leaving Party

Our Branch Manager at DNB, Terje is leaving at the end of June, so there was a leaving party for him (with LOTS of pizza!), for which I was 'official' photographer. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Morph statues in the City

While I've been out and about I've taken some photos of the various Morph statues that have popped up around the City.

 

Walk from Mile End to Islington and Back

 We went for a long walk today. We started with breakfast in The Coffee Room at Mile End before heading of to Mile End Park and onto Regent's Canal. As it got hotter, we stopped for a takeaway Aperol Spritz from Route to help us on our way. We had a stroll through Broadway Market before heading on to Islington and a walk through Chapel Market before stopping for some lunch in The Angelic. Heading up to Highbury and Islington station we got the Overground back to Hackney Wick and walked through Victoria Park down to Mile End Park before stopping in The Palm Tree for a drink. From the we headed back to Mile End and had a final coffee in The Coffee Room again, From there we caught the 425 bus back to Ilford where we couldn't help but pop into Jono's for a final drink before coming home. Work Dinner in Chelsea Harbour

I had a work dinner at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel. We got there on an Uber boat from Blackfriar's Bridge, which was very pleasant on the hot day. After the dinner the stopped for a drink at The Lot's Road pub before heading home.

 

Robin in the Garden

While I was doing a few bits in the garden today, I noticed I was being followed around by this Robin, no doubt hoping I'd dig up something for him to eat.

 

World Naked Bike Ride 2023

On a hot day (29c), I met Dave up in town to walk along the South Bank and catch the World Naked Bike Ride Procession 2023. There was the usual mix of eccentric outfits and body paint but as usual it was all in good spirits. Some photos from the day are below, the rest are here:
