Dave's Birthday

Its was Dave's Birthday, so a group of us went down to Southend for a surprise get together for him. We started off in The Elms - Ruddles best at £1 a pint!, before moving onto Bellinis where the drinks were considerably more expensive! Much to the surprise of a lot of the younger trendy punters, we decided the best place to be was out on the dancefloor (though my knees are paying for it now), before stopping off for the customary kebab on the way home.

Bavarian Beerhouse

Thursday night was a Sports and Social night, which was this time at the Bavarian Beerhouse. As you can see from the photos, it was quite a lively night!

New photos of Hedda

Got these latest photos through of Hedda, who seems to be growing up fast!

Lunchtime at Borough Market

A group of us went over at lunchtime to Borough Market. The array of types of food as well as the colours and smells is amazing. We had a very nice lunch of a double chorizo roll, with red peppers and rocket, followed by a Portuguese tart.

Luke buying the Portuguese tarts.

Our lunchtime rolls....

Hotel Room for Monday night!

Here's the hotel Room I'll be spending the night in, at The Tower Bridge Novotel, due to snow/ice stopping people getting into the office Tuesday morning.

Crikey! That's a lot of snow for London

The snow continued all night, meaning of course that England is thrown into total chaos! It took me nearly 2 hours to get into work, having left at 6.00am hoping to avoid the crush of the rush hour. It was still busy even then! Here's how it looks in The City today.

Blizzard!

The slightly more extreme winter weather continued today, with quite heavy snow!
