Walk through Wanstead to Leytonstone

We went for a long walk on a sunny day through Wanstead Park before ending up at The Holly tree for a drink.

 

Walk through Forest Gate up to Leytonstone

We went for a long walk from Forest Gate up to Leytonstone. We started with breakfast at Cups and Jars, before walking through to The Holly Tree for a drink. We then headed up to Leytonstone, and as there was quite a wait for a 66 bus, we had a quick half in The Birds

 

Nice sunrises

We've had some very impressive sunrises the last few days, better than grey dreary skies!

 

Manor Park to Leytonstone walk

We took a couple of buses to Manor Park today to go for brunch, going via Ilford this time instead of the usual Wanstead route. We walked through Manor Park Cemetary heading towards Tracks for a coffee, only to discover it's now closed! So we had a coffee in The Ramble cafe instead after this we headed on from there through Forest Lane Park and up to The White Goose Bakery for brunch. After this we walked on to The Holly Tree for a drink before walking back to Leytonstone and getting a bus home.

Lunch with Mum at The Windmill

We took Mum out for lunch at The Windmill today before doing some shopping in Lidl. Nice to get out of the house given the weather we've had recently.

 

Mile End, Hackney and Wanstead day out

On another chilly Sunday we went for a walk From Mile End to Hackney. We started with a coffee and a croissant at The Coffee Room in Mile End, before getting a bus to Victoria Park. We walked through there to The Lord Napier for a drink before another bus trip to Wanstead where we had lunch at City Place.

 

Day out at Hornchurch v Horsham

I went to Hornchurch to see them play Horsham on a chilly day.Despite it only being a 1-1 draw, it was a good day out.
