Weekend in Swaffham, Bury St Edmunds and King's Lynn with Liv and Richard

We spent the weekend up in Swaffham with Liv and Richard. On arrival on the Friday night, we had a curry that Richard had made before heading down to The Greyhound for a couple of drinks. After the Saturday morning auction, we headed off to Bury St Edmunds where we met up with Cait and John. On Sunday we took a trip out to King's Lynn for a bit of a breeeze by the river.

 

Weekend in Swaffham with Liv and Richard

We spent a relaxing weekend with Liv and Richard. On The Saturday we wanderedd around Swaffham and the auction, before heading off to Bury St. Edmunds to meet Cait and John. On the Sunday we had a day in King's Lynn before heading home.

 

Weekend in Walton

To avoid the stifling heat, we drove Saturday and Sunday to the Coast in Walton on the Naze, a very pleasant couple of days out having paninis for lunch and Ice Creams while sitting on the beach.

 

The Pixies and Pearl Jam in Hyde Park

There was a spare ticket up for grabsd to see Pearl Jam and The Pixies in Hyde Park, so rather than it go to waste, I went along after work to enjoy a nice warm evening in Hyde Park with some of the others.

 

Breakfast and walk in Wanstead

As a break from all the recent decorating we went for breakfast in Wanstead before going for a walk in the park and an ice cream. The spell of dry weather has taken it's toll on the lakes in Wanstead Park.
