One morning during our morning walk, we bumped into a girl from the Mote Marine Aquarium who was examining a Turtle nest that hadn't hatched. Sadly the heavy rains in August seemed to have ruined it. However this one little fellow HAD survived, and while I helped count the number of eggs in the nest, Siv got to pick up the baby turtle to stop ants crawling all over him. A once in a lifetime experience for us.
