Alison Krauss / Robert Plant and The Eagles in Hyde Park

After a morning removing the old vinyl flooring from our bedroom, we headed up town for an early dinner at The Pollo Bar before heading on to Hyde Park to catch the latter part of Alison Krauss and Robert Plant doing some Countrified Led Zepellin songs. After this the Eagles came on and did a great 2 hour set. A few photos of the day out are below, the rest are here:

The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park

I met up with Grae and Ironbeard to go to Hyde Park to see The Rolling Stones. I met Grae in London for lunch at The Pollo Bar, before moving on to The Carpenter's Arms to meet Ironbeard. After a few drinks there, we headed into Hyde Park. The support bands were Phoebe Ridgers and War on Drugs (who we knew little about), before The Stones came on and did a brilliant 2 hour set. We stopped off at The Guinea for a pint on the way home to avoid the post-gig crush. A few photos of the day out are below, the rest are here:

Siv, Siw and Mette off to a Craft Fair in Wanstead

After breakfast in City Place in Wanstead, I headed up to London for the World Naked Bike Ride event, meanwhile, Siv, Siw and Mette headed of to a Craft Fair in Wanstead before heading back home and sitting in the garden.

Day out in London for World Naked Bike Ride day

I went up town with 'camera Dave' to watch the annual World Naked Bike Ride, in London. As usual it was a carnival atmosphere with lots of tourists cheering everyone along. As we had some time to kill before the procession, we wandered up to the new U.S. Embassy and saw The Sky Pool, a rather unnerving swimmiing pool suspended between two buildings. A few photos are below, the rest are here:
