Meeting up with Trudie, Ruth and Steve

We met up for a few drinks with Trudie, Ruth (who were in town for the weekend) and Steve at The Grocer Pub in Spitalfields Market. When Steve cycled off to prepare dinner for Trudie and Ruth, we headed back to Liverpool Street statoin, and with 10 minutes to kill we just managed a quick G&T before Trudie and Ruth's train left.

The Selecter and The Beat at The Roundhouse

A large group of us went to The Roundhouse to see The Selecter and the Beat play live. We all met up in The Camden Eye for a few drinks before heading off to the venue. The bands were excellent, and a very lively atmosphere down the front.

Walk over Fairlop Waters

Weekend work, and a couple of walks over Fairlop Waters

I've had to work all this weekend, so haven't been able to travel far from home. But we have been able to fit in a couple of long walks over Fairlop Waters, seeing the Autumn colours and the shy heron!

Long walk over Fairlop and into Barkingside

We went for a long walk over Fairlop and into Barkingside for lunch today. When we got back we carried on walking down to Sainsbury's to do the weekely shop, having to stop on the way back to avoid a massive downpour. After the rain we were treated to a rainbow from the back window.

A walk over Fairlop Waters

We made the most of the unseasonably warm weather today for a walk over Fairlop Waters. With temperatures going up to around 28c we decided to stop for a 99.
