Final days in Oslo

On Sunday, we went over to Ingvild and Jose's for dinner, and had a relaxing time, until late in the evening when Markus and Cathrine decided to have a jogging competition! On the Monday, Siv and I had a relaxing day on our own before meeting the others at Peppe's Pizza for dinner before we flew home.

Back at Cathrine and Ståle's house

After the meal at Egon, we went back to the house, where Lucy and Vesla were able to come out and play, until they eventually conked out!

Family lunch at Egon

We were in Oslo for the weekend, visiting Siv's family. On the Saturday lunchtime we all went to Egon restaurant for something to eat. Hedda was very pleased with her balloon, even when she pushed it into my pinto of beer, knocking it over me! Luckily I was able to go to a clothes shop and get a cheap pair of jeans.

West Ham v Bolton

Well it was the first home game of the season, but West Ham seemed to have carried on where they left off last...this time with a 1-3 loss at home to Bolton. The new seats give us a better view than our old position, and Gerkin should fit in with the neighbours. West Ham managed to miss a penalty, before getting one later in the game, but sadly it was all a little too late by then.

Our Wedding Anniversary

Today was our 11th Wedding Anniversary, and as we've had quite a few things on recently, and coming up over the next Month or so, it was nice to just have the day to ourselves. We started off in Westcombe Park having a haircut by Selena at The Curious Comb.
After our Haircuts, we walked around Greenwich Market for a while, buying a few bits, before starting to head back via Canary Wharf, finally ending up at Mum and Dad's.
When we got home, We had a bit of a picnic on the bed and relaxed watching TV (though the ending of Tess of the d'Urbevilles wasn't as cheery as we had hoped!).
We've also had the first crop of nectarines from our miniature nectarine tree....Only 5 (we'd eaten one by the time I got my camera out, but good given the size of the small tree (its the one in the grey stone pot)!

Meeting Laila and Lisa in town

Laila and Lisa have been in London for a week, with their friends Turid and Elisa. On their last night, we met them for a meal at The Spaghetti House just behind Marble Arch. Everyone had a very nice time chatting away.
