Littlebeard's stag weekend

Just back from a weekend boating on the Oxford Canal (South) for Littlebeard's stag weekend. We arrived at the boatyard Friday afternoon at Oxfordshire Narrowboats in Lower Heyford. We set off towards The Jolly Boatman in Kidlington for evening dinner. We had enough time to stop at The Rock of Gibralter in Blechingdon to pick up Roger.

After a very filling meal, we eventually headed back to the boats and got a rather chilly night's sleep.

Saturday morning we were greeted by blue skies, and after breakfast we headed off towards Wolvercote, where we moored up before going on a mini pub crawl to The Plough, White Hart and Red Lion, before arriving at the legendary Trout Inn (which was a bit busy), where we had dinner. After that we headed back to the Red Lion for a few more drinks before heading back to the boats.
