In the evening we headed to the Matthew Street area of the City centre, where everybody seems to go (walking past, but not going into the legendary Cavern Club. We ended up in flares nightclub at the end, where some of us got well into the 70's groove! We eventually got cabs home about 1.30am, and had a nightcap in the hotel bar, before finally going to bed after a long day!
