Walk From Mile End to Hackney

We went on a long walk from Mile End to Hackney. We started with breakfast at The Coffee Room before walking on through Victoria Park for another brief stop. We eventually ended up in Wanstead for sandwiches at City Place. 

 

Meeting up with Jeaning, Erich and the Kids

Jeanine, Erich and the kids were in London to see Taylor Swift as part of a European holiday. We took the chance to meet up with them in the evening at Passyunk Avenue in Waterloo. Great to see them all again.

 

A Walk and Lunch in Valentine's Park

We went for a nice lunch in Valentine's Park today. Very pleasant weather before Autumn arrives!

 

Essex Way walk from Ongar to Epping

We did our annual Ongar to Epping Essex Way walk. We stopped off for lunch at The Green Man as usual. A very nice day out. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Trip to Hawaii for Jens and Bridget's Wedding

We're just back from a trip to Hawaii for Jens and Bridget's wedding. We had a great time staying in Honolulu and swimming in the sea on Magic Island and meeting up with family (a couple of times in Haleiwa) at their accommodation on the Valhalla Paradise coffee farm. We also had some days out to Waimea Falls and to the Halona Blowhole. On the Sunday before the wedding there was a Luau at 'Uncle Bob's' on the North Shore with our own personal turtles who were sunbathing.
