Frankie and Scarley staying with us for the weekend - Home made Pitta Pizzas

We had Frankie and Scarley staying with us for the weekend. On Friday night we had DIY Pitta Pizzas for dinner. A busy weekend of going out and watching Olympic action. some photos are on the next couple of entries, but all of them are here:

Weekend in Oslo

On the way home, we stayed for the weekend in Oslo to celebrate Cathrine's 30th Birthday. A big feast of prawn was had on the Saturday night which everyone enjoyed, an ended the night with some synchronised dancing organised by Hedda.

Trip to Bud

On a grey Tuesday, we decided to head out to Bud for a drive, only to find that there the sun was out! We stopped off for some coffee and cake before winding our way home again.

Trip to Håholmen

A large group of us went out to the fishing Island of Håholmen for a day trip of sightseeing, kayaking and boating. Unfortunately my camera took a dip in the Atlantic, but the photographs could still be retrieved off of the SD card.

Dinner at Il Chef

We went out on the Saturday night with Eva and Ole to the local Italian restaurant Il Chef....a fun evening, with a dramatic sunset from the restaurant window.

Holiday to Elnesvågen and Oslo

We've had a couple of weeks in Norway on holiday visiting family and friends. The first week and a bit were spent in Elnesvågen with Siv's Mum and Brother. A lot of photos were taken during the holiday, a selection are below, but all of them are here:

Saturday over Valentine's Park

The continuing good weather meant we were able to head over Valentine's Park again, and see some of the wildlife again...one squirrel was feeling the heat and was laying flat out on the tarmac to try and cool down.
