Dad's 80th Birthday celebrations

Ahead of Dad's 80th Birthday on 3rd December, we went to Santore for lunch in Exmouth Market. It was a  nice long relaxed lunch. Afterwards we headed on for another drink before going home at the (noisy!) Crown pub in Clerkenwell Green.

Keane at the O2

Siv and I went to see Keane at The O2.  We were originally up in the gods a bit, however a large guy sat down next to Siv taking up half her seat. I went to customer services to ask if there were any spare seats, and to my surprise we were given new tickets on the floor, next to the stage! So from having a view a long way off, we were suddenly next to the stage with a close up view.

We bought some pumpkins in Sainsbury's and carved them out ahead of Halloween.

Over Valentine's Park with Frankie and Scarlet

With Frankie and Scarlet visiting, we took a trip over to Valentine's Park. There were some unusual birds there such as Egyptian Geese, and a Jay. Though most fun was had feeding the squirrels, who got so exited they strted jumping up the girls legs.

Early celebrations for Grace's 18th

We went round to see Grace for some early 18th Birthday celebrations (her Birthday's on Friday). It took a couple of goes to take the photo of blowing out the candles!

Siv's day out in London

Siv had a girlie day out in London with Fi, Anne, Bernie and Donna, starting at the Crusting Pipe.

Meanwhile I went to West Ham, and had Pie and Mash!!

DNB trip to Geilo

Just back from a trip with work to Geilo. It was a pleasant couple of days, including some team building stuff...outide...in the rain...However, the hotel, Dr. Holms, was excellent. I managed to take a couple of dramatic photos over the mountains heading back to Bergen to fly home.

Hamburg food

Its been a bit of an eating extravaganza. First night was the seafood platter at Carl's Brasserie. For lunch the next day was the 6 sausage, sauerkraut and boiled potato feast at friesenkeller. Finally today it was the 30cm monster (with flags) at Ständige Vertretung. Phew!

Visiting Hamburg

Been visiting the bank branch in Hamburg with Laurie. A bit chilly, but seen a bit of the City, including the impressive Town Hall, including a trip round the office building on the never ending paternoster lifts which are quite a rarity now.
