We had a leaving party for Bill Shannon at work. I quickly knocked up a leaving card to give to him for the collection. A few photos are below, the rest are here:
We're just back from a long weekend in Elnesvågen. We were lucky enough to have good weather the whole time which meant we were able to get quite a lot done including some gardening, ordering new Sofas, and taking a lot of stuff from the storage room to the Council tip as well as going to Eide for dinner at Piacere. We also had time for a few walks to 'Stikk Ut' locations such as Elnestangen Kyststi, Kyststien i Bud and a walk to Stavneset Lighthouse with Eva and JM. a Few photos are below, the rest are here:
As Saturday was due to be the best day of the weekend we headed out for a walk. We started in Mile End, having a breakfast at The Coffee Room where a large queen bee flew into Siv's hair. After getting it out, we moved over to Mile End Park and placed it onto a daffodil hoping it would feed and recover. From there we walked through Mile End Park and up to Hackney via Victoria Park. From there we hopped on a bus to The Holly Tree for a drink and a snack before heading home via Wanstead.

After a wet night and morning we went for a walk to Valentine's Park for a coffee and toasted teacake at the Gardener's Cottage Cafe. We had to try and hide from some rain showers on the way home, but managed to stay mostly dry.
On Monday I met up with BBC London's travel reporter Tom Edwards to do an interview regarding the mess the Central Line has become, and tonight it was shown on BBC London. The story is also reported on their website: BBC LONDON CENTRAL LINE REPORT
