Day out in Bexhill-on-Sea

As today was the best day weather wise, we headed down to Bexhill-on-Sea for a walk along the sea front. While it did cloud up, at least it stayed dry. We started with a coffee and croissant at The Colonnade, and after a walk to St. Leonards, we had Halloumi burgers at The Oceanside cafe. Driving home, we decided to avoid the motorways and saw this impressive view of Aylesford.

Walk over Wanstead Park and on to Tromsø E7

We had a few days off this week. Today we went for a walk over Wanstead Park, and a walk through the bluebells before carrying on to Wanstead Flats and heading to Tromsø E7 for lunch. During the walk back via Manor Park cemetery we spotted the grave of John Clinton, and it's related tale.

Walk over Wanstead Park and Wanstead Flats

We went for a walk over Wanstead Park today to see the impressive bluebells, and headed on to Wanstead flats. As the Wanstead Park Tea Hut was busy we went to The Poppy Pantry in The City of London Cemetery

Spring Walks

With the lockdown continuing, we've not really been able to travel much, so here's some photos from the walks we've been doing at the weekends over Valentine's Park, and a new favourite - Wanstead Park. The weather has been mainly cold with the odd warm day, but at least it's been mainly dry (helping Siv recover from the broken arm she got slipping over during the snow!).

Post lockdown meet-up at Hornchuch Club House

After the long lockdown, we are at last able to meetup outside in groups of 6, so a number of us went to Hornchurch FC's club house for a few drinks in the sun.

Winter Walks

What with the wet weather and lockdown, we've not been up to much, but have been able to get out to Valentine's Park and Claybury Park....even during the snow and very cold snap we had. A few photos are here, the rest are here:
