First walk of the year over Fairlop

The weather was good enough for us to take our first walk up to Fairlop Waters. Some flowers were already coming out for the spring. There was a bit of sunshine, so it finally is starting to feel like spring - slowly!

West Ham v Burnley

On what was supposed to be a day remembering Bobby Moore, the 0-3 loss at home to Burnley turned into a day of pitch invasions and fan protests! I met up with Mike Willcox before the game...it was his first trip to The London Stadium, an unusual first visit!!

Commuting in the snow

The weather's been a bit chilly recently, a small video to try and make it look quite nice when commuting with all the delays etc....

Snowy day!

It's been a very snowy day today, but a bit of sunshine in between causing icicles to form outside our office windows.

Trip to Borth

Siv and I took a trip down to Borth to see Trudie, Mike, Joe and Eric. We travelled down on Friday night and had dinner at Libanus 1877. On Saturday we went for a walk along the seafront before going to watch Borth reserves play football (a 2-2 draw with Machynlleth), before heading our for a few drinks at The Friendship Inn for a True Tales story session.

Trip to Oslo

I had to travel to Oslo for a meeting, so we decided to make a weekend of it, and visited family while we were over.

Eagles win the Superbowl!

About 15 years after foolishly buying an Eagles wristband and saying I'd wear it until they won the Superbowl, I can finally retire it, after their 41-33 win over The New England Patriots.

Walk over Fairlop Waters

 We went for a long walk over Fairlop Waters today, enjoying a bit of sunshine and seeing the first signs of spring appearing.

Weekend with Trudie and Eric staying

Trudie and Eric were in London for the weekend to go on a West Ham stadium tour, before the West Ham v Bournemouth game. They traveled down Friday evening and stayed with us before the cold and wet game on the Saturday.

Walk up to Barkingside and Fairlop Waters

We went for a walk up to Barkingside for lunch today at Marino's Cafe, as well as doing a bit of shopping before heading home through Fairlop Waters....enjoying a bit of afternoon sunshine.

Walk over Seven Kings Park

We went out to do some shopping today, and after coming back, we went for a walk over Seven Kings Park to take in the sunset.
