Long Walk to Fairlop Waters and Valentine's Park
Nina has been staying with us for the weekend, and as it was another sunny day today we went for a long walk first up to Fairlop Waters and into Barkingside for lunch, before heading off to Valentine's Park to see the Redbridge music lounge playing music in the Gardeners cottage Cafe, and spotting the swans' nest has 7 eggs in it! A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Night out in Leigh on Sea
After the day out in London, I traveled down to Leigh to see Kev who is over from Australia. We went to the Mayflower to see a band. Due to my photo equipment, people though I was the local press, some demanding random photos!
Viewing level of The Tate
After the Bike Ride, Dave and I headed up to the viewing level of The Tate for the views over London, passing by a statue of Twiggy with Terence Donovan who had a studio nearby.
World Naked Bike Ride
I met up with Dave for the annual scrum that is World Naked Bike Ride day. It was very warm, so a big turnout of riders AND photographers! A few photos below, the rest (including some very naked ones!) are here:

Week away cruising the Thames
We're just back from a week away with Siw, Olav, PK, Mette, Ket and Sigbjorn cruising up the Thames from Benson to Oxford. We stopped on the way up and back at Clifton Hampden and Abingdon, having a relaxing time and some great weather mastering the art of going through locks! The trip to Oxford was made all the more memorable by the tight fit under the Folly Bridge (see the video)!
On the way back to Benson, we stopped off for lunch in Goring, and realised we'd stumbled across George Michael's house, which is quite a shrine these days, with lighters and candles left out for fans to light in memory.
