Meet up at The Guinea
With Mill and Katy making their first visit to London in a couple of years, were organising a few get-togethers. Tonight, we all met up at The Guinea pub in Mayfair. It was a very good turn out for a Monday night, and the good weather meant we could stay outside all evening. People arrived at different times, with Lev coming straight from the airport after a flight back from Munich.

Congratulations Russell on completing the l’Étape du Tour, which if you look at this site, you can see just how challenging it is! The final 12k is entirely uphill at 7.4% gradient!

Sunday afternoon walk
Sunday afternoon, Siv and I went over Valentine's Park, as the early cloud that had threatened rain gave way to a sunny afternoon. It was relaxing to just have a walk through the park, and having a coffee at Valentine's mansion's Gardener's Cottage Cafe.

Birthday party in the garden
For my Birthday this weekend, we arranged a party out in the garden as it was about 30c during the day. As well as all the family coming over, James, Karin, Nori and Eirik came down from Kirton. With the warm weather, we were able to sit out in the garden all evening.
