Siv and I tooks some trips while we were in Sarasota. A daily walk along the beach into St. Armands Circle for a coffee or Ice cream at Big Olaf's, as well as trips to Anna Marie Island City pier, Ted Peter's in St. Petersburg.

This year, in addition to Raccoons which we'd seen before, we also managed to see Dolphins playing and Manatees grazing.

Two dragonflies fighting, the blue one eventually decapitated the green one below, which is either 'Gross' or 'Awesome' depending on which American you speak to!

Philly, Sunday in South Street

On Sunday, Liz and Rick had to go to a Christening, so Siv and I took the Monte Carlo down to South Street for a walk around. While there we witnessed a fire, which some of Philly's finest attended.

On the Saturday, Liz and Rick took us to Longwood gardens, where we had a good look round in the Autumn sunshine (and free entry thanks to Fran's season ticket!). The Water Platters were astonishing, growing 8 feet in size in 3 weeks!!

Siv and I arrived in Philly at the start of our holiday, in time to celebrate Erock's birthday. Most of the family were there, including Chris and Becky as well as the heavily pregnant Jeanine, and little Anna Elizabeth who was a bundle of energy as usual!

Siv and Olav's 25th Wedding anniversary

Siw and Olav visited us to celebrate their 25th Wedding anniversary. They did some sight seeing, and on Saturday we all went up town to see the Jersey Boys musical. After that, we walked down through London, to Westminster Bridge, and onto the Oxo Tower for dinner. Siv's meal was served on a wooden platter! Very Viking-like!

Solveig's 60th Birthday Party

Siv and I travelled to Oslo for Solveig's 60th Birthday. It was a total surprise for her, as she didn't know what was arranged or that we were coming. The girls went to a Spa in Oslo during the Saturday, while Jose and I went on a pub crawl...well to The Dubliner at least, before all the family met up for a meal in Druen in the evening. As you can imagine, Hedda was still very much the centre of attention!
