Trip to Hampstead for The Danish Xmas Market

We took a trip to Hampstead to go to the Danish Xmas Market this week, held at the Danish YWCA. A fun time with mulled wine and hot dogs. Coming home we walked through Primrose Hill and Regents Park and finally Baker Street (going past 221b of course).

 

Walk to Fairlop for Lunch

We took a walk up to Fairlop for lunch at The Posh Box by The Forest Farm Shop.

 

DNB Get Together for Len leaving

It was good to get together with a lot of ex-DNB people for a drink up for Len's leaving do.

 

Woodpecker in the garden

We've had a Greater Spotted Woodpecker visiting us recently. Usually he doesn't stay long but after getting some nuts he seemed to enjoy sitting on the tree taking in the sun.

 

Trip to Norwegian Church for Xmas Fair

We went to Rotherhithe to the Norwegian Church to go to the annual Xmas Fair. A fun day, with coffee and waffles. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Hornchurch v AFC Totton Match

On a cold, wet Saturday I went to Hornchurch to see the draw 1-1 against AFC Totton.

Coffee out with Mum at Vintage 51

We took Mum to Vintage 51 in Upminster for coffee and cake.

We took mum out for coffee and cake at The Sip House in Hornchurch, lots of friendly chat.

 

Trip up to London for eye test and lunch

I had to go for an annual eye check up in town, so we both went and made a day of it having lunch in the Crosse Keys and taking in some of the Xmas decorations in Leadenhall Market and the surrounding area.

 

Sunny walk to Valentine's Park

We had a pleasant walk down to Valentine's Park for lunch, walking back via Barkingside and the Barnardo's square.

 

Trip to Oslo for Tante Liv's 80th Birthday Party

We had a flying trip to Oslo for Tante Liv's 80th Birthday Party in Mirabel. On the Sunday we took a trip to Eidsvoll 1814. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Walk to Valentine's Park for a coffee

We went for a coffee and tea cake in Valentine's Park today and went to see the Rememberance Poppies on the way home.
