Halloween!

We celebrated Halloween again, and got a large number of callers!!

 

Siw and Olav Staying for a Long Weekend

We had Siw and Olav staying for a long weekend. We managed to pack in quite a lot! On Friday we went up to London for a late lunch in Lido in Chinatown before a couple of drinks on the way home in O'Neills in Wardour Street then at The Great Spoon in Ilford. On Saturday I took Olav to see Hornchurch win 2-1 over Hampton and Richmond before dinner at The Windmill (we got a free pint for the walk courtesy of last week's Beer festival). On Sunday we went for a long walk over Hainault Country Park. On Monday we went up town to The Garden at 120, but plans were interuppted by a fall Mum had at home. One Tuesday we went to Valentine's Park before a Fish and Chip dinner at The George and Dragon in Wanstead. A few photos from the weekend are below, the rest are here:

Trip to Redbridge FC to watch Hornchurch

After keep fit, I headed over to Redbridge FC to watch Hornchurch beat Redbridge 3-1 in the BBC Essex Senior Trophy.

 

'Ornchurch Beer and Gin Festival

We went to the Hornchurch FC for the 'Ornchurch Beer and Gin Festival, which was a fun (if boozy) day out!

Trip to London for Oasis 'launch' Party

I won 2 tickets for the Amazon Music lainch party for the re-issue of Oasis' album '(What's the Story) Morning Glory' (30 years!) which was held at the converted Green Man pub (into the Morning Glory) in Berwick Street (where the album sleeve photograph was taken). a fun night with free drinks and food....we even won some prizes! Lunch outside in Harrow Lodge Park

On a fairly mild day we braved the outdoors to have lunch with Mum at The Lakeview Palace.

 

Trip to Southend to See Björn Again

We went down to The Cliffs Pavillion in Southend to see Björn Again perform. A fun night out with some great music.

Group Curry in Upminster

A Large Group of us met in The Crumpled Horn in Upminster before going for a curry at The Ginger Lounge. Good to catch up with everyone again.

 

Week in Elnesvågen

We took a Trip to Elnesvågen to do a few chores before the winter sets in. We were lucky with mostly sunny and dry weather for once. A few photos are below, the rest are here:
