For my Birthday, I went with Grae and Phil to Hyde Park for a : British Summer Time concert with Van Morrison, Cat Stevens and Neil Young. A great, if hot, day out.

Trip to Redbridge FC to Watch Hornchurch v Sittingbourne Pre-Season Match

After keep fit tonight I walked across the fields to Redbridge FC to watch Hornchurch play Sittingbourne in a pre-season friendly. Good to catch up with some of the old faithfuls in a 3-2 win for Hornchurch.

 

Walk up to Aldborough Hatch Wildlife Park

As it was a nice evening, we went for a walk up to the wildlife park in Aldborough Hatch, a pleasant walk taking in the wildlife.

 

Walk to Forest Road Farm Shop, and back through Fairlop Waters.

We decided to risk the forecast thunderstorms, and went for a walk up to Forest Road Farm Shop, where we had lunch at the coffee shop (and it did rain after we arrived). We came home through Fairlop Waters, and it was a pleasant trip with very few people around.

 

Lunch Out at Fig Branch

We took Mum out for lunch a Fig Branch today, and very nice it was too!
