We went over to The Poppy Pantry at The City of London Cemetery for lunch and an ice cream since the weather was (finally) so good. We then took a bit of a drive around Wanstead before sitting in our garden for a couple of hours before we took them home.
This was it, the big day at Wembley as Hornchurch took on Hereford in the FA Trophy Final. We first of all met up at The Lamb in Leadenhall Market before setting off to Wembley. After a great game, Hornchurch won 3-1! Russell headed off to the after match party back at the club House, while the rest of us went back into London to try and Find a pub we could easily get 8 people into. Walking away from the crowded Liverpool Street area we were lucky to find the City Bar and Kitchen and spent a few hours there before heading home. With a storm arriving this afternoon, we decided to take a shorter walk today. This time just to Valentine's Park for lunch at the Gardener's Cottage Cafe, and a look at the cygnets.
