We went for a walk over Fairlop and up to the Farm shop again. Stopping off for a coffee at Fairlop Waters was a nice reminder of 'normal times'. We also noticed some painted stones being left around Fairlop by somebody which was a pleasant surprise. The heavens opened when we were nearly home, but we were able to shelter under the (still closed) Dick Turpin outdoor umbrella. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Red Admiral butterfly in the Conservatory
When we got home from Mum and Dad's I noticed a red admiral butterfly was trapped inside the conservatory. I was able to take a few photos before 'shoo-ing' it out to freedom.

Grasshopper in the conservatory
We had a grasshopper in the conservatory today. Quite a rare sight these days. I was able to get it in a glass and back onto the grass where it immediately started eating blades of grass.

The robins are still very active in the garden, but with the youngsters growing up, it won't be long before they head off on their own.
