Nashville Meets London

We met up with Liv and Richard and decided to brave the chance of rain heading to Canary Wharf for the annual Nashville meets London Country music festival. The rain wasn't too heavy, and we managed to stay under a tree when it did start! A fun day out, a few photos are below, the rest are here:

Brian's 50th Birthday Party in Leigh on Sea

We went down to Leigh on Sea to celebrate Brian's 50th Birthday at Strictly Smartz. We stopped off for a drink at John Lewis' flat to take in the view before heading on. A fun evening catching up with everyone, and a lot of dancing! Brian decided on a moon theme given he was born in the same week as the Apollo 11 moon landing.

Village Green Festival in Chalkwell Park

We went to The Village Green Festival in Chalkwell Park. A bit of a grey day, but luckily no rain! Some good bands including The Asylums, Fun lovin' Criminals and Busted (though we left before they came on!), but a fun day out! A few photos are below, the rest are here:

The Who at Wembley Stadium

I went with Russell, Graebags and Grae's mate John to see The Who at Wembley Stadium last night. We met up in town at the Brewdog pub in Great Tower Street, before heading for lunch at Manze's Pie and Mash shop. After another quick drink in The Woolpack before heading off too Wembley. We caught the Support Acts (Imelda May, The Kaiser Chiefs and Eddie Vedder) before The Who came on for a very good two and a half hour set! A long journey home due to the crowds at Wembley Tube Station, but a fun day out! A few photos are below, the rest are here:
