Woodpecker back in the garden

Our local woodpecker was back in the garden today after being away for a while,

West Ham day out with Mill, Trude Sally and the crew!

A large group of us went to watch West Ham versus Sunderland. A great day out catching up with people (even if the game wasn't particularly memorable!), before some post match celebrations at The Boleyn and The Black Lion before a bit of a pub crawl through docklands at The Narrow, The Captain Kidd, The Prospect of Whitby and Town of Ramsgate. The last game at the old ground before the move to Stratford next year which will mean some of these sights probably won't be around much longer. A few photos below, but the rest are here:

Over Valentine's Park with Frankie and Scarlet

We went over Valentine's Park two days in a row while they stayed with us (even in the heavy rain on Saturday!), for squirrel feeding and coffee and cake. Frankie and Scarlet even managed to get some birds to eat nuts off of their hands!

We've had Frankie and Scarlet staying with us this weekend. Quite a busy time going out with Frankie to take light trail photographs along the A12 as well as baking a pumpkin pie with Scarlet, making home made pizzas and shopping in Sainsburys. Probably my last midweek West Ham home game under floodlights before the move to the Olympic Stadium next season, I wonder what the atmosphere will be like at the new place for games like this.
