Trip to Ely and Cambridge - Day trip to Cambridge

After breakfast in Peacocks, we took a drive to Cambridge, where we went on a tour of the Colleges, with a personal history tour from Barry. We went for coffee and cake at Fitzbillies before heading home. A lot of photos were taken over the weekend....a few are below, the rest are here:

Trip to Ely and Cambridge - Duxford airshow

On the way to Ely, we got stuck in static traffic after a road crash ahead of us. This was during the Duxford airshow, so I managed to get some shots while we weren't moving.

Eli, Jan and Silje staying

Eli, Jan and Silje were staying with us for a few days....quite a lot of shopping was done in a short space of time!!

Radio 2 Hyde Park Concert to see Rod Stewart

We went with Fi and Anne to the 'Festival in a Day' for Radio 2 in Hyde Park. A selection of acts including top of the bill Rod Stewart. We started off with lunch at Balans in Westfield Stratford, before heading onto Hyde Park. We managed to get a good spot to sit and listen to the earlier acts (Will Young, Leona Lewis, The Corrs, Bryan Adams), before moving towards the front to see Rod! A great day out which we all enjoyed. We took a lot of photos, some are below, the rest are here:
