Saturday was a big day out for a large group of the lads. At lunchtime we met at The Spotted Dog for a few drinks, before going onto watch West Ham beat Wigan. The win just about keeps West Ham in the Premiership, but it was tight!
After the match we returned to The Dog, before making our way onto The Admiral Vernon pub in Dagenham to watch Scam69, a punk and new wave covers band. They were very good, and John Lewis and myself couldn't resist getting up for a bit of a pogo to a couple of numbers! The band were very tight, and well worth catching!
We had Mum and Dad around to try out the Summer House for the first time by having lunch out there. While we were in there, we got a Great Tit and a Chaffinch visit us.
...and at last people open windows after the long harsh winter we've had. Siv and I were able to get out in the sun (up to 17C!) and do some gardening. While we were clearing away all the leaves and rubbish from the winter, this robin was keeping a watchful eye for any goodies we might uncover.
We've been up with Siv's family at Tyribo, at the cabin in Trysil. The weather at the start of the Easter break wasn't too great, so unfortunately no skiing was done, but as you can see from the photos and videos, everyone had a great, relaxing time. I even had a go at walking around on snow shoes. On the Saturday, Jose, Ståle, Markus and myself went on a 'Harry Tur' to Sweden, which was very disapointing given the size of the town of Sysselbäck that we visited!!
I've embedded some slideshows and videos below, but if you want the originals, All of the holiday photos are viewable/downloadable here:
