Some of Siv's family went home today. So the rest of us went for a short trip over to Valentine's Park, to feed the Squirrels, climb trees and see the newly restored mansion. While having an Ice Cream, we saw a small robin singing away in a tree.
We've had Siv's family over from Oslo for the last few days, its been quite crowded when it comes to sleeping quarters - 8 people! On Saturday night we had a 'mini Christmas', with a roast dinner and presents, to make up for missing it in December.
Of course, for much of the time, little Hedda has been the centre of attention, she's been very well behaved...if a bit messy at beakfast!
Here's the lads in All Bar One having a bite to eat for a 'team lunch'. Loz couldn't make his mind up what to have after they said the Egg Florentine was off!
Its another nice day in London, so I went for a walk around in the sunshine. First of all passing the old PLA building near Tower Hill.
On the way back to the office, I passed a building site for a new building at the bottom of Gracechurch Street. Interestingly, while the core will all be new, it seems the facade will be the old one, and while construction is going on, the old facade is being held up by an interesting array of pipes and girders!
We went to Spitalfields Market with Siw, Mette and PK. There was some kind of East End festival on, so it was even more crowded than usual (apparently). The girls were happy browsing round all the stalls, and the place was livened up by a demonstration of traditional East End...er...Bangra music.
Siv, Siw and Mette also bought some very nice Tina Maas photographs, after we'd had some lunch at Pattisserie Valerie, before heading home.
Went to West Ham today, a lunchtime kick off against Man City. Even the returning unpopular Craig Bellamy and the 'Brazillian magic' of Robinho couldn't help City from losing.
