Walk over Hainault Forest and Lunch at The Halfway Hut

We took another cooling walk through Hainault Forest, and moved onto a bit of The London Loop to walk across the golf course for lunch at The Halfway Hut.

Evening Walk over Hainault Forest

We took another evening walk over Hainault forest, and this time taking a different route at the top of the Forest, we came across an area full of carvings made from old tree stumps, some of which were a bit spooky!

As it was still very hot in the evening, we headed for the shade of the trees again in Hainault Forest as the sun started going down.

Lunch at Lakeview Palace in Harrow Lodge Park

With the weather hitting 30c again, we took Mum over Harrow Lodge Park for a very nice lunch at The Lakeview Palace.

 

Another Walk over Hainault Forest

With the weather keeping good, we went for another walk over Hinault Forest to keep cool in the shade, and we stumbled across the cows eating some of the forest leaves.

Walk over Hainault Forest

We went for a walk at one of our favourite new places, Hainault Forest for a walk and breakfast at the 1856 Cafe. Nice to keep cool under the shade of the trees.

Walk over Fairlop to The Forest Road Farm Shop for brunch at The Little Posh Box

We took a walk over Fairlop to have brunch at The Little Posh Box at The Forest Road Farm Shop. A bit on the warm side walking home again!

 

Lunch in Harrow Lodge Park

We took Mum out for lunch over Harrow Lodge Park at The Lakeview Palace Cafe. A nice day out in warm weather by the lake.

 

Holiday in Oslo and Elnesvågen

We're back from a couple of weeks in Norway visiting in-laws. The Weather in Elnesvågen unfortunately prevented us doing too much outside, but it was good enough to cut the grass a couple of times. A few photos are below, the rest are here:
