We walked to Wanstead to meet Liv and Richard for lunch, passing through Valentine's Park and Wanstead Park, followed by this little chap for a bit of the way.
We were in Elnesvågen for 3 weeks, so spent both Xmas and New Year with Siv's Mum and brother. The weather was a bit up and down (snow, then rain, then snow again), so a bit of snow clearing was needed. On the sunnier days we got out for some walks with Eva. Some of the photos are below, but the rest are here:
Just before the latest lockdown we were able to have our DNB Xmas party at The Boiler House in Bick Lane (part of the old Truman brewery), social distancing wasn't too much of a problem given the size of the place for about the 50 staff that attended!
A bit late due to Covid etc. But we finally got to go to the 60th Birthday celebration that Berni, Roger, fi and Grae had organised for Siv at Seven Hotel in Southend.A fun night out.
We took a bus to Romford for some shopping in Matalan, then jumped on a 247 to Barkingside where we went shopping at the Forest Road Farm Shop. After that we headed to the recently opened Pepperman's Deli for lunch before walking home through Fairlop home again.
I went to Hornchurch today for the league game against Carshalton, until the match was abandoned after half an hour when a power cut took out the lights and a large surrounding area.
Friday we headed up town to meet Liv and Richard for a big Chinese meal at Lido in Chinatown, after which we headed to Bar Italia for coffees and drinks.
