Walk over Hainault Forest to The Half Way Hut for Lunch

We went for a walk over Hainault Forest, heading to The Half Way Hut for lunch. A very pleasant walk as the threatened rain never appeared!!

 

Forbidden Planet Signing for Action Comics 50th Anniversary

We went up London to go to Forbidden Planet where there was a signing for the 50th Anniversary of Action comic. It was good to finally meet John Higgins and get him to sign my copy of Watchmen. He was surprised when I askedhim to sign a copy of Graphixus from 1978!

 

Lunch at The Boatyard with Lev, Sarah, Saara and Oli

We had lunch at The Boatyard with Lev, Sarah, Saara and Oli on a very sunny day! Heading back looking for somewhere to have a drink, we by chance spotted Grae, Fi, Ironbeard, Yvonne etc outside The Crooked Billet! So we camped there for a few hours.

 

Hornchurch v Maidenhead Match

For the last Hornchurch match of the season, we had Mill in attendance and it was a 12.30pm kick off. This meant a long day out in the sun (even though it was a 0-0 draw!). After the match we all headed back to The Tap Room for a few drinks and a sing along to some music...Eventually the girls (who had been at Sally's) joined us as well. A great day out! River Roding Walk to Loughton

We decided to do the River Roding walk from Redbridge to Loughton today. A very pleasant walk stopping off for lunch in the Ray Park Cafe. Heading on we stopped for a drink at The Three Colts where I bumped into Kay Newman from DNB!

 

Hainault to Abridge Walk

We did the Hainault to Abridge Walk along the Three Forests Way. Stopping in Abridge for the excellent 'Small English' breakfast at Boardeli's (which meant we could walk back not feeling stuffed!). Passing the alpacas on the way home.
