Walk over Fairlop Waters

The sunny, chilly weekend continued today, allowing us to go out for a long walk over Fairlop Waters and into Barkingside for lunch, as well as stopping off in Fairlop at The Boat House for a coffee outside in the sun.

Trip to see West Ham v Everton

Trudie was in town for her brother’s 60th Birthday. Paul gave her his ticket for the West Ham v Everton game, which was a rather drab draw.

Trip to see Hornchurch FC play Aveley

I went with Russell to watch Hornchurch FC play Avelry in the FA Trophy. A cold windy day which ended with Hornchurch losing. We stopped off in The Hop Inn for a pint to warm up walking bacvk to Gidea Park!

Walk over Fairlop Waters

We went for a walk over Fairlop this morning to get some fresh air....nice to get out, even if the scenery is a bit bleak this time of year.

Trip to see AFC Hornchurch play Horsham

I went with Russell to watch Hornchurch play Horsham. A fun day out, and good to see Hornchurch win 2-1!
