Siv out walking with Eva

Siv's had some nice weather in Norway this weekend and so has been able to get out for a couple of walks with Eva.

 

Quarantine in Elnesvågen

 After a number of cancelled trips, we were finally able to get over to Norway to help out at with some chores. We had to quarantine, which meant not as much socialising as normal, but it was still nice to get out for some walks and to go crabbing one evening. With Siv's Mum having to go to Trondheim hospital, it meant an unexpected road trip there one weekend! A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Walk over Fairlop and some shopping

It was a warm still day today, so we went for a walk up to Fairlop, and did some shopping in the the Farm shop. The still weather seemed to have triggered 'Flying Ant Day' as they were everywhere. We stopped for a coffee and some snacks at The Boathouse on the way back as well which was pleasant.

Blustery walk over Fairlop

We went for a walk over Fairlop today. While it was sunny, it was also very windy and blustery, but still warm enough to sit outside and have a coffee.

Walk over Fairlop to the Farm shop and a coffee stop

We went for a walk over Fairlop and up to the Farm shop again. Stopping off for a coffee at Fairlop Waters was a nice reminder of 'normal times'. We also noticed some painted stones being left around Fairlop by somebody which was a pleasant surprise. The heavens opened when we were nearly home, but we were able to shelter under the (still closed) Dick Turpin outdoor umbrella. A few photos are below, the rest are here:
