Meeting up with Lise in town

We met up with Lise after work for a drink and some food at Cote Brasserie in St. Katharine Docks. Some rainy clouds made for some nice skies.

West Ham v Everton

A very spring like feel in the air tonight for the West Ham v Everton game, though we knew after 4 minutes it was going to be a disaster of a game!! At least I got to enjoy 'bubbles' before kick-off!

Working in Oslo

After working on Copenhagen for a day, I moved onto Oslo for a meeting, and had enough time before my flight for dinner with Cathrine, Hedda and Trym.

A day up London for Frankie's Half Marathon

We had a day up London with Caroline and Barry to Watch Frankie take part in the London Landmark Half-Marathon. A great day out with wonderful spring sunshine....Frankie did very well cheered on by all of us, including boyfriend Alex. Frankie was running for the Anthony Nolan Trust, which is very close to her as it was nearly 10 years to the day that her Dad Simon died.
After the race we had a quick lunch in Pret before heading to St. Pancreas for a few drinks in The Booking Office before going to dinner at Dishoom in the newly developed Kings Cross area.A few photos are below, the rest are here:

A day out at West Ham v Huddersfield

I managed to meet up with Steve from Florida who was passing through the UK en route to a skiing trip in France. He came to the West Ham v Huddersfield game with his cousin Jo, and what a game it was, with West Ham some how coming back from 1-3 to win 4-3. We celebrated afterwards in the less than celubrious surroundings of the Builder's Arms to watch the end of the equally astounding England v Scotland rugby game which somehow ended 38-38. A good day out!

Billy Bonds stand unveiling before West Ham v Newcastle

I went to the West Ham v Newcastle game today, and before it was an unveiling ceremony for our stand to now officially be known as the Billy Bond stand. We were all given coloured bags to hold up which spelled out the mural below. A good day out, especially with a 2-0 win!

Weekend in Saffham with Liv and Richard

We spent the weekend in Swaffham with Liv and Richard. The unseasonable mild weather meant we were able to get out and about. Arriving Friday we had dinner followed by a few drinks in The Greyhound, with the gang there. On Saturday we took a trip around the market place with its stalls and auction, after which we jumped on a bus and spent the afternoon in King's Lynn. Coming back we went for a few drinks followed by a curry at The Spice of Swaffham. After breakfast on Sunday we spent the day in Sunny Hunny (Hunstanton), before heading home. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Another Sunday trip over Valentine's Park

The unseasonably warm weather continued this weekend, allowing us to go over Valentine's Park for a walk and a coffee and a cake in the Gardener's Cottage Cafe, as well as checking up on the chipmunks.
