Trip to London aquarium

We all took a trip to the London Aquarium while we were in London. It was very good, and Hedda certainly like looking at the exhibits, including the sharks.

Trip up to London

On Sunday we took a trip up to London, taking in some of the sites while we were there. It was a chilly but sunny day.

Walk over Valentine's Park

Ståle, Cathrine and Hedda were visiting us this weekend. On Saturday we went over Valentine's Park, hoping to feed the squirrels. However it was so cold, they all seemed to be hiding. Hedda has agood time on the slides though. All the weekends photos are here:

Trip to Ely

Siv and I took a trip to Ely to see Caroline and the girls. After a very nice lunch we went for a walk, where Daisy went in the river...rather reluctantly! After playing with some other dogs, when we got home she was conked out. Siv, Caroline, Francesca and Scarlett were the girls who waved at trains.

Woodpecker in the garden

This morning we woke up to see this green woodpecker hopping around in the garden, feeding on insects (hence his muddy beak!).

Xmas Day Dinner

Here we are at Russell atnd Maureen's for Xmas dinner. Guess who had to be photoshopped in! After dinner we opened the rest of our Xmas presents....even Millie got some presents!

Season's Greetings

As we're stranded here in the UK due to the snow affecting our flights to Norway, here we are settling down to celebrating Xmas at home this year with Vince's family.

Fox in the garden

We woke up this morning to see this fox sitting in the garden. Once he spotted us photographing him, he soon headed off into the trees.

The road to nowhere....

Siv was supposed to be heading home to Norway for Xmas today. However, due to the 'adverse weather conditions' in the UK today, we got to Heathrow, but after a few hours it became obvious not a lot was going to happen as they shut the airport....so began the long journey home. When we did get home we saw how much snow we had in out garden, only about 3 inches, but enough to make the Country grind to a halt!
