Day Out in Kentish Town to Hackney with Siw and Mette

We took a half day holiday and got the train up to Kentish Town West, where we started with coffee and cake at The Fields Beneath. After this we headed to The Regent's Canal and walked along through Camden and onto Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross where we stopped for a drink at Barrafina. After this we headed on towards Islington, where we stopped for an early dinner at Day And Night. After this we walked up to Highbury and Islington where we caught a train back to Hackney Wick for a drink at The White Post, before getting busses home. a few photos from the day are below, the rest are here:

Holiday in Elnesvågen

We're back from a week in Elnesvågen. The weather wasn't too great, but that allowed us to do some decorating inside, and on the Sunny days we did get some gardening and DIY tasks done. We had a couple of trips out on the better days including an evening trip to Vevang Fort with Marina. Some photos are below, the rest are here:

Meal out to celebrate Franky's graduation

We met up with Caroline, Barry, Franky, Scarlet, Mark and Lynn to celebrate Franky finally graduating! We first went for drinks at Radio Rooftop, before having dinner at the Pie Room.

As it's Norwegian constitution day, we had waffles in the office!

 

Thai meal out from work

A group of us from work went to Brick lane for a Thai Meal at Thai O'cha, which had some impressive vegetable carvings served up with the food.

 

Hornchurch v Cheshunt Play off Final

I went to Hornchurch to see the play off final against Cheshunt which unfortunately ended up with a 1-2 loss. So promotion this year for the Urchins unfortunately.

 

Walk through Manor Park and Wanstead

After yesterday's loooong walk today we caught a couple of busses to Manor Park for breakfast at Tracks E7. From there we walked back over Wanstead Flats, stopping for an ice cream in Wanstead Park before passing through the bluebells and heading back to catch a bus home and do some gardening.

 

We had a couple of days off, so today we decided to walk the Regent's Canal from Kentish Town to Stratford. We started with a coffee and croissant at The Fields Beneath, before starting the walk, passing through Camden (and 'The Clash' steps), and heading along to King's Cross Coal Drops Yard and onto Islington where we stopped for lunch in Day and Night in Chapel Market. After this we headed on through Hackney and onto stratford before stopping for a drink in The White Post, before getting busses home.
