Weekend in Kirton and Lincoln

On Saturday we drove up with Marit to Kirton to see Jame, Karin and the kids. Despite bad traffic going up, we had a very relaxing Saturday afternoon travelling into Boston, with some BBQ pork for dinner in the evening. 

On Sunday we drove up to Lincoln, for a walk around the old town area (as well as going to view Karin's painting in an exhibition in the Sam Scorer gallery), going into the Castle and the Cathedral, before having a very nice lunch at the Wig and Mitre. Walk over Fairlop Waters with Marit

We've had Marit staying with us thus weekend. We managed to fit in a quick walk over 

Fairlop tonight, to enjoy the sunshine,

Walk over to the Southbank

As it was a nice day, I went for a walk over the Millenium Bridge to the Southbank and the Tate Modern at lunchtime. The tide was out, so it was possible to walk down to the banks of The Thames. A guy was doing a modelling photoshoot, so I joined in with the people taking shots of him!!

Walk over Fairlop

We went for a walk over Fairlop Waters today to enjoy the warmer, drier weather after Sunday's washout! The Fire Brigade were there doing some hose exercises. We had time for a couple of coffees sitting outside The Boathouse, enjoying the weather.

Weekend with Frankie and Scarley

We've had Frankie an Scarley staying with us this weekend. On Friday, while Frankie travelled down from work in Ely, Scarley and I made our traditional pumpkin pie.

On Saturday we traveled up to Portobello Road market to see all the sights and sounds there, before stopping for coffee and cake in Blanche. In the evening we headed back to Westfield Stratford to have dinner at Cabana, before watching Mamma Mia 2 at the Vue cinema there. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

WEEKEND WITH FRANKIE AND SCARLEY

Holiday in Molde

We're back from Elnesvågen, having nearly 2 weeks there. We did a number of things such as setting up a Husqvarna 315x Robomower. During the hot weather at the start of the holiday, we went to Farstadstranda, along with a lot of other people. We even managed a dip in the sea! A lot of the other time was spent catching up with people and taking in things like the blood moon. A few photos are below, the rest are here:
