We took a walk over a rather wintry Valentine's Park today. Despite the chilly, grey weather, quite a lot of animal activity, including the Chipmunks moving their babies around.
We went up to Ely to go to the opening Caroline and Lucy's new Cafe, Lucy at 35. It was a fun day out, with lots of friends and family helping out for the first day. It was so popular, they ran out of food!! A few photos are below, the rest are here:
I've just been for a few days work visit to Hamburg for work. Helped by some very nice weather it was a good trip, and always fun to go on the Paternoster lift in the office building!
Cathrine and Ståle have been over for a company trip for a few days. Despite a hectic schedule, we were able to meet up with them. We had some drinks on Saturday in Bernardi’s and Vinoteca, while on Monday we met up for Lunch at the Serpentine bar and kitchen.

We went for a long walk up to Fairlop Waters and into Barkingside today, to enjoy a bit of Spring weather which FINALLY seems to be arriving.
We're just back from a long weekend away in Dunwich (famous for its 'Lost City'). On Friday, after arriving we went for a walk on the beach in the sun before heading back to The Ship, where we were staying for Dinner.
On Saturday, we went for the Inn to Inn walk from The Ship to The Crown in Westleton and back, passing through some very nice Countryside and spotting some wildlife. Again in the evening we had dinner at The Ship.
On Sunday, the weather wasn't quite so good, but we went with Anne and Paul to Minsmere RSPB, for a walk around...luckily the weather did improve a bit!
A few photos from the weekend are below, the rest are here:
We had a day out in Greenwich with Liv and Richard. Starting at The Cutty Sark, we made our way through The Royal Naval College Visitor's centre, to pose in some armour! Passingon we went into The Naval College's Chapel, with its ornate carvings.
We then stopped off for a drink in The Trafalgar Tavern, before avoiding the very high tide and making our way into Greenwich itself for lunch at Noodle Time.
From here, we wandered around Greenwich a bit before heading back on the DLR and Central line, stopping off for some drinks and nibbles at The George in Wanstead. A few photos are below, but the rest are here:
