Late Lunch Over Hainault Country Park

We went for a late lunch over Hainault Country Park at the 1856 Cafe, which served some very nice scrambled egg on Avocado.

We went to Alexandra Palace to see The The. A great night out hearing songs old and new, though the strict 'no phones' policy meant only a couple of shots could be taken!

Long Weekend in Madeira

We're just back from a long weekend in Madeira staying with Ingvild and Jose. Very nice weather (not too hot) and able to do some tours of the island to see new places. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Walk from Havering Country Park to Hainault Forest Country Park

We took a bus down to Matalan in Romford, and from there took the 294/365 route up to Havering Park. From there we did a long walk though the park, passing the redwood trees, and eventually making our way through to Hainault Forest Country Park where we stopped for lunch at the cafe.
