A large family of sparrows turned up for an evening feed today!

 

Trip to Elnesvågen

We're just back from a short trip to Elnesvågen to visit Arnfrid and Odd, and to try and do some gardening while we were there. The weather wasn’t great for most of the time but the last day was very pleasant and allowed us to get most things done. While we were there we had some deer visiting us in the garden, and managed to get out for dinner at Piacere restaurant in Eide with Marina and Magne. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Wanstead Festival

We had a wander around the Wanstead Festival today, it looked like everyone was having a good time, until the heavens opened and the rain poured down for half an hour, which was a shame for the organisers.

 

Ongar to Epping Walk

After doing the Epping to Ongar Walk in 2021, we decided to do the route in reverse today. We got a tube out to Epping, and waited for the 420 bus to Ongar (having a nice coffee and muffing while we waited). The walk went quicker than last time, and we managed a stop off in Toot Hill at The Green Man for lunch before continuing the rest of the way. A few photos are below, the rest are here:

Hedda's Confirmation

We travelled to Oslo for Hedda's Confirmation. It was a fun weekend, with the Confirmation at Strømmen church, followed by a party at the Odd Fellow house opposite. A few photos are below, the rest (including lots more Cheerleading ones!) are here:
