Shopping and Lunch with Mum

We went shopping with Mum in Romford before heading to the Gardener's Cottage Cafe in Valentine's Park for lunch.

 

Baby Robin in the Garden

We spotted a baby Robin hopping around the garden, seems to be quite grown up now, so will soon develop the famous red breast.

 

Barbecue with Liv and Richard

We spent a pleasant afternoon in Liv's garden having a barbecue and a few drinks. 

 

Coronation Party at Paul and Anne's

We went to Paul and Anne's to go to their Coronation Party. It was a fun day with a good turn out though we were stuck inside most of the time due to the rain. There was also a little celebration for Anne's upcoming 60th Birthday.

 

Walk over Fairlop Waters

We went for a walk over Fairlop in the evening for a drink and on the way home we spotted what looked like a large cloud of Mosquitoes swirling around in the air....We didn't hang around too long to investigate!

 

Geese in the Road!

We had to herd some geese out of the road today as they seemed intent on walking down the middle of the road while on their way to their destination! Luckily the drivers of other cars were being careful once they spotted them.

Breakfast in Valentine's Park and Hornchurch Play off Final

We went for breakfast at the Gardeners Cottage Cafe in Valentine's Park before heading over to Mum's. I then headed off to Hornchurch to watch the Isthmian Premier Play-Off final against Aveley, which for a second year running went against The Urchins. A good day out, despite the result!
