Shopping with Mum and Hornchurch v Margate

We went shopping with Mum for some new hallway carpet and lampshades for the living room before stopping for lunch at Dunelm. I then headed off to Hornchurch to see them somehow go from 2-0 to 2-3 at home to Margate!

 

First grass cut of the year!

We finally had a few dry days which allowed me to cut the grass for the first time this year!

 

Dave Gibbons and Brian Bolland talk at The Century Club

I met Siv in town for dinner a The Pollo Bar, before heading onto Bar Italia for a coffee. After that Siv headed home, while I moved on to The Century Club to see a talk by Dave Gibbons and Brian Bolland to promote their new books. Heading home through Soho I passed Jazz after Dark (where we went many years ago), and stopped off to view the lightshow at the HERE building.

Walk through Valentine's Park, Wanstead Park to Leytonstone Comic Fare

We had a bit of a late start after the flight home from Norway yesterday. We headed to the Cottage Garden Cafe in Valentine's Park for a late breakfast before walking through Wanstead Park and onto Leytonstone where we went to The Birds where a Small Press Comic Fair was going on. We had such a good time we stayed for a roast dinner.

 

Week in Oslo and Elnesvågen

We're just back from a week in Norway. We sepent the first weekend in Oslo, and had a big family get together which Jan and Pia were able to come over for. On the Sunday we travelled on to Molde where we spent the week working and doing a lot of snow clearing! A few snowy photos are below, the rest are here:
