Trip to Royal Albert Hall to see Keane

We took a trip up town to see Keane at The Royal Albert Hall. We stopped for cocktails and food at Bumpkin (which wasn't great!), before going to the concert (which WAS great!). A fun night out.

Work trip to Stockholm

While Siv flew home from Oslo, I travelled on to Stockholm. Arriving on a chilly, sunny evening I walked from the central station to my hotel (First Hotel Reisen) in the Old town (Gamla Stan). I passed some of the famous buildings like the Royal Palace and Parliament building. We went for dinner one night at Fem Sma Hus (Five Small Houses) for a very good dinner (with no Surströmming!), I had the Anna Lindberg set menu.

Weekend in Oslo visiting family

We took a trip to Oslo to catch up with family. It was a hectic weekend travelling around to catch up with people as well as seeing Trym play football and Ståle playing Floor Hockey (Bandy) as well as fitting in a trip over the park!

Long walk over Valentine's Park and Fairlop

Given the unseasonably warm weather this weekend, we decided to make the most of it Sunday. After some housework, we headed over to Valentine's Park for a walk and some lunch (watching the cormorants and Herons park lake. Heading back via Aldi for some shopping. When we got home we decided to head off out again to Fairlop for a wander round and an ice cream

Evening out with Fi and Grae in Borough Market

We met up with Fi and Grae in Borough Market for a night out. We started in Bedales, before moving onto Black and Blue for cocktails and some food. After that we headed to The Globe (where Grae practised his beer mat flipping skills) for a quick drink before heading home.
