We're just back from spending a week in Elnesvågen for Christmas. We had some very seasonal snow on Christmas day which was nice (though took time to clear!), as well as a trip to see Marie and family. A few photos are below, while a few more are here:
On a snowy Sunday, we took a trip up to Ely to see Caroline, Frankie and Scarley....not forgetting Justin and Daisy! The drive up was quite slow due to the conditions, but coming home was a lot quicker, after a very nice shepherd's pie for lunch.
A group of us headed up to Islington Assembly Hall, for our annual Xmas get-together to see The Blockheads. We went for a drink before and after the gig at The Hope and Anchor....a good night out, despite the chilly weather!
We went to West Ham on a Friday night to see them play Leicester. Not a brilliant game of football, but a fun night out with Paul's colleague Sergio from Argentina tagging along. We headed back to The Builder's Arms for a couple of drinks after the game.
We've had Nina staying this weekend. Today we took a trip up town, having a coffee and cake in The Scandinavian Kitchen, before heading for a walk around Libertys and through Carnaby Street before stopping of for a drink in The John Snow before heading home.
We went on the Queen Elizabeth for a cruise down the Thames for Roger's 50th Birthday. He'd hired Scam 69 to provide the music,as it was the same boat that The Sex Pistols did their infamous river cruise all those years ago. A great night, with a lot of laughs, and Roger raising a lot of money for Parkinson's disease research by getting his head shaved. A few photos are below, the rest are here:
