New Year's Eve at Bernie and Roger's

Bernie and Roger held a New Year's Eve party for a group of us. It was good to catch up with everyone again after Xmas. Lots of laughs and cocktails courtesy of Roger who was in full Tom Cruise Cocktail mode. Ruby of course was hanging around the table in case some food came her way!

Xmas in Norway

We're just back from spending Xmas in Elnesvågen with Siv's Mum and brother. We spent the time relaxing and catching up with friends as well as having good Christmas food. we had quite a lot of snow while we were there, about 40cm (18 inches) in one night alone, which meant a busy morning digging the cars out afterwards. The Blockheads at The Jazz Cafe

A group of us went to The Jazz Cafe to see The Blockheads for an Xmas get together. As usual in Camden at this time of year, it was pretty busy, and the Jazz Cafe crowded, but we managed to get close to the stage.

Impressive sunrise across London to the East this morning, with the Walkie Talkie and  the Cheesegrater silhouetted against the red sky.
