Our Pyracantha bushes are full of berries at the moment...making for a very dramatic display in the garden.

Trip to Birmingham

Siv met up with Fi, Sally, Trude and Helen for a day trip away in Birmingham. A lovely day out having lunch in The Pitcher and Piano.

Barbecue at Gill's

We went to Loughton to go PJ's girlfriend Gill's for a housewarming barbecue. A very pleasant evening sitting outside till quite late (thanks to using the BBQ as a heater!). Paul, as ever did a sterling job manning the barbecue. All the photos in better resolution are here:

On the beach at Borth

We were able to take a walk along the beach in the sunshine...having a look at the work going on making the sea defences bigger, as well as the petrified forest on the seashore, recently exposed by recent storms. All our photos from the weekend in Borth are here:

A trip to the curry house in Borth

When we got back from Builth Wells we walked into town to go for a curry, enjoying some late evening sunshine.

We took a trip away to Builth Wells to watch Borth United. A very nice journey through the Welsh Countryside...sadly seeing Borth lose 4-2!
